Shelby Zitelman is the Sr. VP of Business Development at Zitelman Partners, where she is responsible for developing relationships with new Operating and Investor Partners, marketing, and overseeing the firm’s internal operations.

Previously Shelby worked in start-up management and operations. Early in her career she worked for Ben Franklin Technology Partners and then as the US co-Director of PresenTense.  Most recently she was the co-founder and COO of Soom Foods, where she currently serves as President of the Board.  She was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2019, and graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007.

Shelby lives in Center City Philadelphia with her husband, Dan Stamm, and their three fun-loving boys, Malcolm, Julius and Simon.  She enjoys spending her time exploring kid-friendly Philadelphia, hiking the area’s nature trails, working out and coaching and/or watching her boys' sports teams. She is a member of the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Women's Philanthropy, a Board member of the Jewish Relief Agency, a member of the Twist Out Cancer Advisory Board, and involved in her synagogue and boys' elementary school.
